  • Registration will open for Returning Families on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 10 am.
  • Registration for New Families will be Thursday, Feb. 6 at 10 am.

Camp Schedule

Camp will run Mondays through Fridays from 9 am–3 pm. Dates in 2025 are June 16th–July 25th with the last day being a half day. Registration is available in week-long sessions.

Campers

We welcome CURRENT 1st through 6th graders as campers. We cannot accept kindergarten students at this time. When registering please make sure that you select the CURRENT grade level that they are in NOW.

What is Miss Betty’s Camp?

Sunshine and fresh air. Freedom to explore art and nature. Swimming in the cool, clear Pickering Creek. Fun and games with friends or relaxing in the shade. That’s the idyllic beauty of Miss Betty’s Day Camp. Our vision is for a summer where children are free to be their muddy, authentic selves while playing in the creek, creating art, and making new friends. Our group size is purposely limited so that we can create a safe and joyful space where each child has attention and oversight from our staff.

Miss Betty’s Camp is grateful to West Pikeland Township for the lease of Pickering Grove Park and to French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust for holding the easement on the property.

Peace Corps CIT

Seventh graders are eligible for the volunteer Peace Corps CIT Program. Applications will ONLY be accepted Jan. 22–Feb. 15th, and we will not review them until the application period has ended. We will then notify Peace Corps applicants between March 1–15th whether they are accepted. Those who are interested should expect to fill out their availability for the 6 weeks of camp, as well as a statement of interest. An application link will be posted on or before Jan. 15th. Counselors and Staff

Persons aged 14 and older may apply for Counselor and Staff positions. New counselor applications will open on Jan. 22 and interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis. Those who are interested should expect to fill out their availability for the 6 weeks of camp, as well as a statement of interest and 2 references. An application link will be posted on or before Jan. 15th. Returning staff should look for an email from Allegra in mid-January. Click here for more details.
